Black Dynamite Production, launched in July 2010 by Eric Hannezo, is dedicated to supporting projects with strong, universal values, with the aim of shaking things up and disrupting conventional wisdom. Black Dynamite Production's priorities are sports (Le Stade, Champion(s), Le K Benzema, Tony Parker the final shot, The Pogmentary, etc.), music (Nouvelle Ecole, Gims, Johnny par Johnny, etc.), cinema (Beau Geste, Omar Sy, c'est ta chance), comedy (Kôkôrikô, Le Grand Débarquement, Selon Thomas) and societal issues (Salam, Le Remplaçant, Faire Famille). Black Dynamite has built up a wealth of expertise in storytelling and visual production.
Since its inception, it has produced documentaries, current affairs shows and dramas for the major general-interest networks (TF1, France Télévision, Canal +, etc.) and leading streaming platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, etc.).
Black Dynamite Production boasts 14 years' experience and is always on the hunt for new ideas. The production company is widely respected, having been nominated for the 2021 Césars in the best documentary film category for Cyrille, Agriculteur, 30 ans, 20 vaches, du lait, du beurre, des dettes. Black Dynamite has also hosted several Special Screenings at the Cannes Film Festival, in 2015 with the film Enragés, in 2016 with the documentary Dans l'ombre de Teddy Riner and in 2022 with Mélanie Diams' film Salam.
Since 2022, Black Dynamite has been branching out into drama, with Le Remplaçant aired on TF1 achieving considerable success. The company has gone on to produce several TV dramas, including Kôkôrikô with Jean-Pascal Zadi, and Faire Famille with Océan Michel and Sophie-Marie Larrouy. There are many more projects in the pipeline for 2024.
